Give terrorists nowhere to hide - the Counter Terrorism Intelligence Unit (CTIU) fights terrorism at every level and the work we do potentially helps to save thousands of lives.

A vital part of our mission is to collect and analyse high quality intelligence which can then be used to bring individuals to justice. It’s a key process in maintaining the safety of others.

Operating in central Hertfordshire the unit is responsible for the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

Our unit works with communities to prevent the opportunity to allow terrorist acts to occur, co-ordinates the policing effort to secure UK borders and ensures that police and communities can work together to restore normality should a terrorist act occur. This is your chance to rise to a new and exciting challenge while gaining invaluable experience that will move your career forward.
