Event - Hertfordshire Force Control Room - 17th January 19 Open Evening
Hertfordshire Constabulary is hosting an open evening for those interested in applying for the position of Communications Operator within the Force Communications Room (FCR).
The FCR is based at police headquarters in Welwyn Garden City and is open seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Our Communication Operators work flexibly, including weekends and evenings/nights, to answer emergency and non-emergency calls and direct resources across the county.
An open evening where people can find out more about this front-line role is being held on Thursday 17th January 2019 at headquarters in Stanborough Road, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, AL8 6XF at 1900 Hours. Please ensure you arrive on time.
This is an informal event, which will last around two hours, where guests can find out more information about the role, take a tour of the FCR and ask those who are already doing this important job questions about what the role involves. There will also be further information and guidance about the application, assessment and training process for this post.
Tea and coffee will be provided on the evening
