An opportunity for a temporary HR Advisor position for 6 months has arisen to work in the BCH Employee relation team based in Daneshill House, Stevenage.

This is an exciting role working alongside managers at all levels across three forces advising them on the implementation and interpretation of a range of Force employment policies and conditions of service.

You will need to ensure that you are up to date on changes in employment legislation and best practice, which will also assist in your developing Tri Force HR policies and procedures. Within this role you will also be involved in the up skilling of managers across Bedfordshire, Cambridge shire and Hertfordshire.

This is a challenging but rewarding role requiring excellent communication skills, managing a varied and complex workload requiring you to be flexible in your approach and work well within a team.

The successful applicant will be CIPD qualified as per the role profile with experience of working across a number of employer relations disciplines. You will have extensive experience of advising line manager on the effective management of employee relations as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other HR professionals to ensure the delivery of the integrated HR function.
