Applications are invited for an A2, Business Support Assistant for a role within the Child Safeguarding Command based within the County Community Safety Unit at Headquarters.
The successful applicant will work with the Child Online Safeguarding Team, HALO and Missing Persons, providing administrative support and co-ordinating with external agencies.
The successful applicant will need a good knowledge and awareness of the internet, be able to conduct research online. Due to the nature of the work, the successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly to meet organisational needs. These teams deal with emotive, distressing and sensitive subjects. Although the applicant may not be involved directly with investigations, they will be working with these teams and will therefore be subject to a Psychological Assessment.
Those successful in the paper application will then be subject to a personal interview relating to the workings of the unit and their suitability before being invited to attend a formal interview process. There is also a 2 year return on investment for this post.

Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to pass a psychological assessment with the Occupational Health Unit prior to being posted to the new role.
