As a manager of a busy team the successful applicant will provide research and analytical preparation of key business processes, including public consultation and satisfaction surveys. You would be responsible for ensuring Horizon scanning and other techniques are used to ensure that the organisation is aware of developments, trends and changes in the medium to long-term future that could have an impact on its ability to provide an effective and efficient policing service. To participate in the process of developing, and to monitor the Police and Crime Plan to ensure that the Force is meeting the objectives.
Overseeing the management of Problem Solving Workshops and Forums, and managing the strategic assessment process for the Force.

The successful candidate will have:

Experience in business management or equivalent workplace technical experience
Experience in managing and developing analytical/research teams
Proven ability in a wide range of computer systems, databases and spread sheet packages.
Experience in the use of tools and techniques or process improvement
Ability to prepare strategic position papers and reports and deliver presentations to senior officers
