Opportunities have arisen to join the collaborated Collision Administration team in the role of Business Support Assistant.

A number of full time vacancies plus a part time vacancy (15 hours per week) are available.

This role will mainly require the successful applicant to administer Road Traffic Collision reports, inputting them onto a bespoke database, liaising with colleagues in the wider force, local authorities and insurance companies. Our Business Support Assistants gather evidence from a number of sources in order to ascertain if further action is required. All enquiries are conducted from the single administration unit in Stevenage on behalf of all three forces.

We are looking for candidates with a high standard of administration experience and attention to detail, working within tight deadlines. We use various IT packages, so you should be IT literate and be able to manage quantities of workload in a busy environment.

We deal directly with the public, so customer service experience is essential to be able to speak to a wide variety of people and represent the force appropriately. You will be required to manage the expectations of victims and explain policing processes using suitable language and terminology.
