An opportunity has arisen to join the collaborated Collision and Central Tickets Office Administration Teams in the role of Business Support Assistant.

The role of BSA within the Collisions Team will mainly require the successful applicant to administer Road Traffic Collision reports, inputting them onto a bespoke database, liaising with colleagues in the wider force, local authorities and insurance companies. Our Business Support Assistants gather evidence from a number of sources in order to ascertain if further action is required. All enquiries are conducted from the single administration unit in Stevenage on behalf of all three forces.

The role of BSA within the Central Tickets Office will mainly require the successful applicant to administer tickets, inputting them onto a bespoke database, liaising with colleagues, customers and partnerships eg., Fixed Penalty Office. All CTO functions are conducted from the single administration unit in Stevenage on behalf of all three forces.

We are looking for candidates with a large amount of administration experience, keyboard skills and excellent communication skills. We use a large number of IT packages, so you should be IT literate and be able to manage a large workload in a busy environment.

We deal directly with the public, so customer service experience is essential to be able to speak to a wide variety of people and represent the force appropriately. You will be required to manage the expectations of victims and explain policing processes using suitable language and terminology.
