Police Staff are invited to apply for the role of Head of the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU) – Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU).

This is a unique role, managing and developing the regions Organised Crime Resources and tasking process to deliver an effective and high performing regional response to organised crime. As Head of ROCU you will co-ordinate and oversee management of all teams engaged within Eastern Region Special Operations Unit. In addition, you will provide value for money in support of Eastern Regions Organised Crime Strategy and ensure robust performance and communications strategies are delivered.

Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo Management Vetting and Security Clearance or Development vetting, if applicable, before taking up the post. Please be aware the Police Corporate Vetting Unit will undertake security vetting on successful candidates, their family and others that live at their home address, which will include financial checks. Due to the sensitive nature of these checks, we are not able to supply feedback should clearance be declined.

You will be expected to provide written evidence around the following competencies and the minimum entry requirements from the role profile:
