An opportunity has arisen to join the collaborated Prosecutions team in the role of Team Leader.
This role will require the successful applicant to assist in the smooth running of the section by performing a range of administrative duties, including those of a complex nature and provide administrative support to enable the efficient provision of service.

We are looking for candidates who are able to offer advice and assistance from internal/external customers. We deal directly with the public, so customer service experience is essential to be able to speak to a wide variety of people and represent the force appropriately. You will be required to manage the expectations of victims and offenders and explain policing processes using suitable language and terminology. The ability to communicate and provide information to a high standard is required.

The candidate should have a good grasp of the relevant road traffic legislation and a good understanding of the criminal justice process.

The successful applicant will act as first line manager for a team of individuals, closely managing performance, and HR issues and identifying training needs through the PDR, therefore supervisory experience is preferable. Also experience in the use of IT and good working knowledge on word processing, spread sheets and databases would be beneficial.

The ability to adjust and organise the timing and priority of work is a major factor in this role you may also be requested to ensure that information is made available for meetings and for working groups etc.
