This post will demand a motivated, self-starter, with a ‘can-do’ attitude, who is able to cope with a busy workload leading several small projects, or assisting in the management of larger projects. Educated to A Level or an equivalent qualification, with evidence of an aptitude and motivation for further self-development, you will have analytical skills, and an understanding of relevant methodologies, including PRINCE and AGILE.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to work with diverse user communities at all levels of seniority, and have excellent customer focus whilst working as part of a team.
The post will require attention to detail, ensuring that all (ITIL-based) processes are adhered to, including producing statements of requirements and system definition documentation. This role will allow the successful candidate to take a lead role in the establishment and delivery of a Project Office administering all required project documentation from approval through to project closure.

The right person will be able to take a lead role in understanding, specifying and documenting business requirements and, with the Technical Design Authority, take a role in the design, specification, installation, acceptance testing and commissioning of new systems to ensure the public of Beds, Herts and Cambs are best served.

The post will require a willingness to travel between Beds, Herts and Cambs locations. There must also be a willingness to undertake infrequent additional out of core hours work, but there will be no routine shift or weekend working.

This opportunity is closed to applications.
