***The Information Management Department is a collaborated Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Unit. Information Rights are looking to recruit a Manager to lead and develop a large team of Information Rights specialists.

This is a newly created role within the Unit. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the role within the bounds of the key responsibilities.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and management skills, with the ability to influence others.

You will need to be experienced in the application of both Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation and have an understanding of project management skills.

The post will be based at Bedford Borough Hall in Bedford with the expectation of travel across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire, as well as to regional meetings on the behalf of the Head of Information Rights and Assurance.

The post is permanent and the hours are core office hours of 0900 – 1700 Monday to Friday.
