BCH Chief Inspector Promotion Process

The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Strategic Alliance are seeking applications for promotion to Chief Inspector from substantive Inspectors and substantive Chief Inspectors on lateral transfer.

To be successful in this role you need to have proven leadership skills as well as an ability to deliver outstanding performance for the communities we serve.  You should also demonstrate, through an up to date PDR, a high level of competence at your current rank.

To be eligible to apply you will need to be a serving substantive Inspector in a Home Office force or substantive Chief Inspector.  You should also have no live disciplinary sanctions or being managed under any formal stage for performance or attendance.  You should also have an up to date competent PDR in your substantive rank which demonstrates your on-going commitment to personal development.

This opportunity is open to all substantive Inspectors within Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire as well as external applicants seeking promotion and substantive Chief Inspectors seeking lateral transfer.

The final selection stage consists of a presentation and interview and will assesses both your technical and leadership competencies.  The final selection process will take place in the week commencing 27th November 2017.
