***We are currently recruiting Business Support Assistants to provide administration support in our various departments within Cameras Tickets & Collisions (CTC) which sits within Specialist Operations, Joint Protective Services. We are a collaborated unit and therefore the successful candidate may be employed by Bedfordshire Police, Cambridgeshire or Hertfordshire Constabularies.

Joint Protective Services endeavour to reflect the diverse communities we serve and to build an inclusive workforce where everyone is valued and respected. We encourage applications from underrepresented or minority groups.

We are looking for candidates who have the ability to multi-task, have excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. The successful candidate should be a team player, be flexible and willing to complete training in Police bespoke ICT systems. You will be experienced in handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.

We expect the successful candidate to be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. You must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. We deal directly with the public, so customer service experience is essential as you will be speaking to a wide variety of people representing the force appropriately.
