***The Occupational Health, Safety & Wellbeing unit is looking to recruit a full time Administrative Assistant for the busy Southern hub of the collaborated Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire OHSW unit, which is based at Hertfordshire HQ in Welwyn Garden City.

It is a small, but very busy unit supporting Hertfordshire Officers, Specials and staff with a range of occupational health matters.

As an Administrative Assistant you will deal with a variety of customer focused functions - dealing with telephone calls, responding to emails, requesting and sending medical reports, booking appointments for the Force Medical Advisor, Occupational Health Advisors and Wellbeing Advisors.

Customer focus is one of the key skills required as you will be dealing with internal and external customers - members of the public, internal officers/staff, medical professionals (internal/external), contact will be face-to-face, via email and telephone.

As you will be dealing with medical matters this means that confidentiality is imperative, therefore a thorough understanding of maintaining confidentiality is key.
