The Community Safety Unit (CSU) is a team that contributes to the community safety and partnership activity within Dacorum and St Albans.

We take the lead on appropriate community safety issues and initiatives in particular ASB, partnership working with schools and all licensing matters and ensure that the resources are effectively deployed in accordance with County lead priorities. We contribute to achieving the Force vision, purpose and values

This is a varied and exciting role within the CSU, supporting both Licensing and ASB Assistant Investigators in their role across two Community Safety Partnerships and the CSU Sergeant. The candidate must have the ability to multi-task, have excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. The successful candidate should be a team player, be flexible and willing to complete training in Police bespoke ICT systems. You will be experienced in handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, both internally and externally.

You must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks and excel at both verbal and written communication. You will be required to deal with a range of enquiries, some complex, either in written form, personal contact or by telephone. There will be a need to liaise with other departments within the constabulary and partner organisations.
