An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Volunteer to bring their compassion and enthusiasm to support our Safer Neighbourhood Team at Abbots Langley Police Station by providing an information point service to the members of the public.

Keeping a log of phone calls and enquiries, liaising with other agencies as appropriate (ie Council, Dog Warden), updating the Constabulary Property Management System as necessary, Information based tasks and providing general administrative support are tasks that would be included in this Volunteering opportunity.

This opportunity would be to join the existing volunteer team on a rota of approximately four hours per week.

We are looking for a committed volunteer, with good interpersonal skills and who would be confident dealing with the general public, is computer literate and able to undertake training on Police systems.

The Volunteer Scheme welcomes applications from across the county and reimburses travelling expenses up to 15 miles from the volunteering location.
