The Eastern Region Special Operations Unit has responsibility for targeting serious and organised crime across the region and the delivery of specialist covert services to Forces when required.

The Regional Organised Crime Threat Assessment (ROCTA) Team is made up of research and analytical staff. ROCTA is a new unit, responsible for assessment and mapping of OCGs, along with scoping and understanding the strategic threat to the Eastern Region from serious and organised crime groups and presenting pursue, prevent, prepare and protect recommendations to key Tasking forums. As this is a new unit, this is an exciting opportunity to help shape the way OCG Mapping and Threat Assessment is delivered across the region.

We are seeking experienced and skilled analysts (or assistant analysts) who are looking for new and exciting experiences as a ROCTA Intelligence Analyst. These roles will be working as part of a new team to ensure the Eastern Region has the best understanding of Organised Crime Groups impacting upon the area. A key responsibility will be to identify patterns, trends, hotspots and opportunities for Force, ROCU or partner activity and prepare products for sharing or use in tasking. This presents a great opportunity to broaden existing skills, work in covert policing and to operate at the forefront of advancements in intelligence work.

You will be required to achieve SC/MV vetting.

You will be based in Hertfordshire with the requirement to travel across the region when required.
