***An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Wellbeing Advisors to join the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire Police and Hertfordshire Constabulary multi-disciplinary Occupational Health, Safety & Wellbeing team.
We are currently seeking to recruit two full time Wellbeing Advisors. One of these posts will be based, at the Welwyn Garden City southern OHSW hub and one at northern OHSW hub based at Sandy.

This is a unique opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team providing health and wellbeing advice to police officers and staff; you will work closely with other professionals to provide a customer focused service which supports both the organisation and, it’s most important resource, the people who work within it.

You will be able to work on your own initiative with a high degree of autonomy and demonstrate high levels of personal motivation, drive and resilience and the ability to manage a varied workload with ever changing priorities.

You will provide a proactive Occupational Wellbeing service to officers and staff identifying psychological risks and making recommendations on potential resolution. You will provide short term counselling in line with departmental guidelines and provide specialist advice to OH colleagues and managers on fitness for work.

Developing awareness of our Trauma Risk Management (TRiM) process you will support the TRiM managers and assessors and assist in promoting and auditing the programme.

You will need excellent communication and influencing skills both written and verbal and must be confident in using IT packages such as Microsoft office and databases.

There is a requirement to commit to professional supervision to maintain high standards of professional practice for both the practitioner and the client.

Driving licence required as the post holder will be required to travel between the three forces.
