We have an existing vacancy for a part-time A2 Business Support Administrator to join our small team of staff who provide administrative support to the Solicitors, Insurance Officers and civil investigators within the department. We are based at Police Headquarters in Welwyn Garden City.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to demonstrate good organisation skills as well as being computer literate, particularly in the use of Microsoft products including Word and Excel.

The post-holder will be required to undertake a full range of administrative duties, which include but are not limited to filing, scanning, processing the daily post, data inputting and co-ordinating the closure and archiving of case files. The post-holder will also be required to assist the Office Manager and PA and to provide cover for these posts during annual leave.

The successful candidate will be given on the job training, in particular in the use of the department’s Case Management System, the Claims Portal and dictation software.
