An opportunity has arisen to join the new BCH DBS unit as a DBS Practitioner based at Bedford Borough Hall, Bedford.

This is a key role within the unit and involves processing DBS enhanced criminal record applications in order to safeguard the vulnerable. It is essential you have a good standard of written and verbal communication for correspondence and reports and be able to speak to people face to face and over the telephone clearly and concisely.

For the purposes of the application you will be expected to provide evidence against the four personal qualities (maximum of 500 words each quality) below and the entry requirements:

• Working with Others

Please note, if you are shortlisted for interview you will be expected to evidence at least four of the six personal qualities and entry requirements stipulated in the role profile.
