An exciting opportunity has arisen for two volunteers (One at Hatfield and one at Stevenage Police Stations) to bring their energy and enthusiasm to support our Local Police Command team. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to assist our teams with the maintaining and updating of Herts Reunited – a lost & found property database which helps return lost belongings to owners . Some of the key tasks for this innovative new role would include:
• Supporting Police Officers and Staff with the uploading of property items on to the Herts Reunited system and assist with the photographing of items of property.
• To assist the team with ensuring the data quality on the Herts Reunited system.
• To support the team with the good order of property which is subject to Herts Reunited.
We are looking for individuals who are committed, with good interpersonal skills, computer literate and able to undertake training on Police systems.
The Volunteer Scheme welcomes applications from across the county and will reimburse travelling expenses up to 15 miles from the volunteering location.
