A volunteer is sought to assist the Safer Neighbourhood Team based at St Albans Police Station. The volunteer will provide assistance and administrative support to Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) and the Online Watch Link (OWL) system.
Tasks will include assisting in the signing up of local residents to OWL and assisting in the maintenance of the OWL database.
The volunteer must be committed, have good interpersonal skills and be confident with dealing with the general public. The volunteer must also be computer literate and able to undertake training on Police systems.
A volunteer is sought who can assist for approximately 4 hours a week and must be available for an informal interview at St Albans Police Station.
The Volunteer Scheme welcomes applications from across the county and will reimburse travelling expenses up to 15 miles from the volunteering location.
