A4 Investigators – Safeguarding Disclosure team – 6 vacancies

The importance of disclosure has never been so prevalent within investigations, particularly within serious sexual offences.

Hertfordshire are creating a dedicated disclosure team to support serious and complex investigations within the safeguarding command. Based predominantly within the Sexual Offences Investigation Team they will be providing support across the Safeguarding command.

The new team offers exciting opportunities for investigators, working to the Detective Sergeants within Safeguarding you will investigate disclosure issues within serious and complex crimes distilling the duties under the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act performing the role of the Disclosure Officer.

The Disclosure team will become experts in the field forging close links with partners within the CPS to ensure a consistent approach. They will offer guidance, support and expertise to Officers around disclosure.

You will be an experienced PIP 2 investigator with a proven investigative ability, working knowledge and experience of Disclosure.

The team will be based at Hertfordshire HQ in Welwyn Garden City working Monday – Friday but can be flexible to individual’s needs.
