***An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a new function within the Force Control Room (FCR) resulting from the implementation of the Athena system within Hertfordshire Constabulary.

We have immediate and projected vacancies for individuals wishing to undertake the Crime Officer role within the Investigation Management Unit (IMU) which will be responsible for investigation, allocation and finalisation processes.

This will be a challenging and high-profile post that will enhance your experience of recording and management of crime investigations ensuring the highest standards are recorded onto Athena.

We are looking for individuals who can be positive and pro-active towards implementing change and work as part of this team to help drive new processes. You will ideally have knowledge of National Standards for Incident Reporting (NSIR), National Crime Recording Standards (NCRS) and Home office Counting Rules (HOCR) and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. In addition you will be focussed on improving the service to operational staff, officers and the public in accordance with legislation and policy.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone wishing to be part of this process where you will be instrumental in leading improvement in the standards of investigation across the Constabulary.
