This role is an exciting opportunity to join the new HR Data and Digital Systems department. A key feature of HR Transformation this department has been designed to enable the current programme of digitilisation across HR. The overall aim is to achieve:

• Increased customer satisfaction and HR reputation
• Reduction in first line queries
• Reduction in cost and increase in efficiency
• Reduction in manual transactional activity

As Data Manager you will develop, implement and manage a full and robust data management system. You will line manage the Data Officer and will strive to:

• Maximise the delivery of self service and provide minimal points of contact.
• Provide new expertise in relation to GDPR, create and manage protocols for HR in relation to data storage, handling and reporting, including:
- Legal
- Essential business requirements
- BCH Alignment
- Data Integrity – quality assurance
- Clarity and protection of the ‘golden record’

• Develop automated and easily accessible management information and dashboards for managers based on the baseline requirements captured prior to the implementation of the new systems.
• Ensure statutory returns, HR Governance and Freedom of information requests are prioritised and dealt with efficiently and effectively.
• Establish and manage a clear request and control process in relation to business data requirements, introducing a service level agreement in relation to new or ad hoc requirements.
• Provide key information to measure HR performance and customer satisfaction.
