***Taser Instructor Post (Hertfordshire Constabulary)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new team of 5 Police Staff Instructors to work within Hertfordshire Constabulary to train the newly introduced X2 Taser.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract to enable a swift and structured conversion from the old style Taser to the new style product. The post is scale 33 (£33,597 per annum, pro-rata for the 6 months of the contract).

The team will work out of RAF Alconbury.

This is a unique opportunity that is open to those people suitably qualified and currently practising as either a Police Personal Safety Trainer, a Public Order Trainer or a Firearms Instructor. It would be advantageous if you have previously been a Taser instructor or user, but full training will be provided. To be successful, you need to be competent at delivering a pre-set lesson plan.

This is a Monday to Friday role with no planned weekend working.
