A Vacancy has become available within the Victim Service Team (VST) in Hertfordshire. Victim care is a priority for the Constabulary and the PCC and is an area that is currently being developed. The Victim Service Team work within Beacon, the Hertfordshire Victim Care Centre, and are co-located at Police HQ with Victim Support.

You will be joining a highly motivated and skilled team of staff and officers who deliver outstanding victim care across Hertfordshire as an Administrator providing support to the Unit.
What you’ll be doing:-

• Data entry and updating / maintaining databases
• Information recording
• Sorting and distributing mail
• Providing administrative assistance to the Victim Service Team
• Procurement of office supplies
• General administration duties including;
gathering and disseminating information for bad character references; collating crime reports for Out of Force Areas; dealing with the unit’s email inbox and responding to enquiries

What you need:-

• Experience in an Administrative Role
• Good standard of written communication
• Proficient user in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills, team working and a positive attitude
