Financial Investigation Managers are required to lead and develop a team of Accredited Financial Investigators and Financial Intelligence Officers whose role is to provide specialist financial investigative support and undertake all aspects of asset recovery work on behalf of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk Police Forces. The Financial Investigation Team is responsible for undertaking all asset recovery functions on behalf of the constituent forces. It also provides specialist financial investigation and intelligence support across the same five force areas. The role of a Financial Investigation Manager within ERSOU is both rewarding and challenging.

The successful applicant will hold a current NCA Accreditation for Parts 2, 5 and 8 under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of completed confiscation and civil recovery investigations. The role requires you to be a subject matter expert within financial investigation and asset recovery. You will be responsible for the allocation, management and oversight of financial investigations, ensuring they are carried out thoroughly and expeditiously in accordance with the investigation policy and legislation. The role also requires management and oversight of financial intelligence development.You will be required to undertake regular quality assurance exercises so as to ensure the high standard of service delivery is maintained.

Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo Management Vetting (5 years residency criteria) and Security Clearance (5 years residency criteria) or Development vetting, if applicable, before taking up the post. Due to the sensitive nature of these checks, we are not able to supply feedback should clearance be declined.
