Advertised Apprenticeship Vacancy - Hertfordshire Constabulary
A vacancy has arisen for a motivated apprentice to join Hertfordshire Constabulary Executive Support Team, Welwyn Garden City, Herts.

You will work full time Monday – Friday supporting the Chief Constable of Hertfordshire and a team of Senior Staff Officers, police officers and staff.

You will need to be able to answer telephone calls, assist with reading and logging internal and external mail, welcome visitors , support the team of personal assistants and officers where directed, carry out general administration tasks, work on projects as directed. You will need to be able to respond quickly and accurately when allocated tasks that are time critical.

A basic knowledge of key board skills, understanding of IT software and desirably a minimum of 3 CGSC’s grade C or above.

A full, clean driving licence would be advantageous.

Due to the demands of policing there may be a requirement to work later or be flexible with hours although this would be kept to a minimum.

A medial assessment is pre- requisite of any appointment.
Although not essential, this is a role that would suit a candidate interested in a future in policing.
