***An opportunity has risen within the BCH L&D Leadership Training Team for a Leadership Trainer.

The team is responsible for providing support in the development of leadership skills at all levels regardless of rank or grade, whilst embedding the Code of Ethics and Ethical Leadership Styles and practices. This may be via the delivery of courses and webinars across all 3 collaborated Forces as well as providing advice and support to those requiring it.

This is a full-time Police Staff post working office hours (ranging between 8.30am and 5.00pm). The location will be primarily based at one of the main L&D sites of Dunstable (Beds), Monks Wood (Cambs) or Stevenage (Herts), but there will be an expectation that you will travel across the 3 Force areas. Very occasional weekend working may also be required to suit the needs of the course delegates (for example members of the Special Constabulary).

Entry Requirements:

 Level 3 training qualification or relevant experience
 A sound understanding of leadership at first and second line supervisory level
 Experience in delivering and facilitating feedback
 Experience or understanding of how to develop people
 Experience or understanding of development tools
 Experience of coaching people at different levels
 Ability to research, plan, design, deliver and evaluate training programmes
 Computer literate

Applicants who are successful at the shortlisting stage will be required to attend an interview where you will be expected to evidence against the personal qualities and the entry requirements stipulated in the role profile.
