Special Constabulary Inspector Recruitment process- Hertfordshire Constabulary

 

We are seeking applications for Special Inspector from motivational, dynamic, emotionally intelligent individuals to become part of our Special Constabulary Leadership Team. You would play a pivotal part in helping to lead our volunteer police workforce, providing strategic and operational direction. You will work in partnership with our communities and workforce, to ensure that Hertfordshire Constabulary continues to deliver an exceptional policing service.

 

You should have a broad understanding of the role that the Special Constabulary and volunteers play in supporting day to day policing challenges. Your experience in policing or as a leader in your field of expertise provides an opportunity to transfer your business and commercial skills into a new and challenging environment.

 

You need to be Fit for Independent Patrol and completed all mandatory training as a minimum, in addition we are asking applicants to demonstrate effective leadership skills and an in-depth understanding of the role the Special Constabulary plays in keeping Hertfordshire safe.

 

The successful candidate will work closely with regular service Inspector and Chief Inspector, operationally and strategically, together with the Special Constabulary Senior Leadership team to deliver objectives as set out in the attached role profile.
