As part of the collaborated Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Learning & Development Services, the Personal Safety Training Team is dedicated to providing excellent Personal Safety and First Aid Training to the Police Officers and Staff across the three counties. The successful applicant will be working within a team comprising of both Staff and Police Officers and will be expected to deliver Personal Safety Training, First Aid Training and run recruitment and annual fitness testing, and provide guidance and support where necessary in relation to helping officers achieve the required level of fitness.

This post is open to all those who meet the requirements detailed in the role profile and who have the enthusiasm and communication skills necessary to deliver often physically demanding training to a very high level.

Please note during the training period for this role the successful candidate will be based at Welwyn Garden City, however when competence in role has been achieved their can be flexibility in regards to the usual place of work. However the successful candidate will be expected to regularly travel between all training venues across Beds, Cambs and Herts so having a full driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.

A shift pattern is in place for both roles which is detailed in the attached document.

You will also be required to pass the Job Related Fitness Test.
