A Business Support Assistant opportunity has arisen to work within the Integrated Offender Management Team (IOM), based at Hatfield police station. IOM is a collaborative team approach working with key partners and third sector charities, to support rehabilitation of the most prolific offenders, who’s offending is linked to their chaotic lifestyle, often involving drug, alcohol and mental health challenges. 

The team are looking for a highly motivated person who is able to manage information, maintain accurate records from a range of sources, liaise with a number of partner agencies and work as part of a team. You will also be required to take notes of meetings and deal directly with partner agencies, charities, internal units and offenders. A good knowledge word/excel is essential and a working knowledge of corporate systems (Athena, WebStorm) would be an advantage. The post is based at Hatfield Police station but as the team is a countywide resource, you may be required to travel across the CSP’s. 

The hours of work are the standard police staff 37 ½ hour week (Mon – Thurs 8am – 4pm, Fri 8am – 3.30pm).
