The role covers two principal areas, reflected by two groups within the Transactional Services Team. Firstly, the purchasing of goods and services in line with procurement requirements, management of all travel and accommodation arrangements, and the handling of large sums of seized cash for banking. Secondly, the management of all invoice payments and receipts, detailed reconciliation of supplier accounts, and efficient financial accounting processes relating to the ABLE eFinancials system. The role allows for post holders to be omnicompetent in both previous roles. 

The post holder will be working within a small team of dedicated staff to ensure that the purchasing and processing needs of the supported departments are met in a timely and professional manner. The post holder must be customer focused and have the ability to communicate at all levels.  

We require an Administrator for the Transactional Services Team working in a varied and demanding role within the Finance Department based at HQ WGC. 

Working as part of a professional team with a strong customer service ethos, the post holder will focus on the purchasing of goods and services for HQ and collaborated units, Cash Handling and counting of seized monies as well as Processing tasks such as Accounts Payable/Receivable. 

The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, strong IT skills as well as excellent communication skills. Knowledge of Able eFinancials system and DbAuthorise would be an advantage, however, not essential as training will be provided.
