Opportunities have arisen to work within the collaborated BCH Administration of Justice Team as a Witness Care Officer.

The role holder will be responsible for the effective provision of efficient Witness Care support to victims and witnesses in cases prosecuted through the Criminal Justice System. This work is vital to ensure that offenders are effectively brought to justice.

You will provide a broad range of administrative support to facilitate and coordinate the attendance of witnesses at Court where they are required to give evidence, acting as a single point of contact, by phone, e-mail or letter, to provide hearing updates to victims and witnesses, within prescribed timelines and in accordance with the Victims' Code of Practice and the Witness Charter. You will process incoming queries and information from a variety of different sources, in an expedient manner, providing professional advice in relation to Witness Care processes where appropriate.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proven customer service skills.
