As part of the collaborated Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Operational Learning Department, the Personal Safety Training Team is dedicated to providing excellent Personal Safety and First Aid Training to the Police Officers and Staff across the three counties. The successful applicant will be working within a team comprising of both Staff and Police Officers and will also be expected to run recruitment and annual fitness testing, providing guidance and support where necessary in relation to helping officers achieve the required level of fitness. 

This is a permanent Police Staff role based with Cambridgeshire Constabulary. The ideal candidate will meet the requirements detailed in the role profile and have the enthusiasm and communication skills necessary to deliver often physically demanding training to a very high level. 

For internal applicants, please note that this position will be based out of Monks Wood training centre in Cambridgeshire. 

There will also be a requirement to travel to Hinchingbrooke Police HQ as well as Kempston Police HQ and Gosling Sports Park in Welwyn Garden City to deliver training. A shift pattern is in place for the role which is detailed in the attached document.
