Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Resource Management Unit manages the duties of thousands of police officers and staff across the county and further afield.

Based at Hatfield Police Station, administrators currently have the potential to work up to 50% from home once initial training has been completed.  The unit is responsible for ensuring there is adequate numbers of staff and officers available to enable all units to operate on a daily basis. We also manage all abstractions from duties and operational requests.

The RMU offers a varied and demanding role within a professional team with a strong customer service ethos. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, strong IT skills as well as excellent communication skills.

The Resource Management Unit operates between 0800 and 1800 Monday to Friday and 0800 and 1600 Saturday and Sunday. Successful candidates will be required to work an eight week rolling shift pattern (consisting of a mixture of earlies 0800-1600, mids 0800-1700 and lates 1000-1800).

There is also a requirement to work one weekend in eight, 0800-1600 on both Saturday and Sunday.
