Police Support Volunteer
Like the idea of inspiring and leading young people to achieve things they never thought possible?
Hertfordshire Constabulary have Police cadet groups across the county. Our Cadet groups are for children aged between 13-18 who take part in a range of exciting activities, learning about police procedures and attend activity camps, survival weekends and support local events.
Assist with the recruiting and retention of Watford Cadets. Work with school / youth groups to recruit new members. Assist with the starter packs and permissions slips.
Administrative skills updating records using excel spreadsheet. Using NVPC police system to regularly communicate to the cadet groups. Support the running of the group
We are looking for someone with the following qualities:-
• Has an energy and enthusiasm to support our current Cadet Leaders.
• Has good interpersonal skills
• Be able to work in a small dynamic team.
The Volunteer Scheme welcomes applications from across the county and will reimburse travelling expenses up to 15 miles from the volunteering location and will offer any appropriate training in safeguarding, first aid etc.
