The Information Management Department is a collaborated Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Unit. Information Rights are looking to recruit an additional Information Rights Supervisor to lead and develop a large team of Information Rights specialists who are responsible for handling all enquiries and requests regarding Freedom of Information (FOI) and Data Protection (DP) legislation.

A vacancy has arisen within the employment of Hertfordshire Constabulary. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the role within the bounds of the key responsibilities.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and supervisory skills, with the ability to influence others.

You will need to be experienced in the application of both Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation and have an understanding of project management skills.

The post will be based at Bedford Borough Hall in Bedford with the expectation of travel across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire, as well as to regional meetings on the behalf of the Information Rights Manager.

The post is permanent and the hours are core office hours of 0900 – 1700 Monday to Friday.
