Hertfordshire Constabulary Police Officer Recruitment IPLDP+

Police Officer - Probationer
Hertfordshire Constabulary
Forcewide
£26,682 (plus a £3000 South Eastern Allowance)

Herts Police are offering, for the final time, the opportunity to become a police officer via the Initial Police Learning and Development Programme (IPLDP+)

The IPLDP+ is a well-established programme of initial learning, which takes two years to complete. You will undertake a period of initial learning at our training school, before moving to your designated policing area for tutoring and further operational coaching. Once you have successfully passed IPLDP+ you will be able to consider further opportunities of progression and specialism within the Force.

The starting salary for all new recruits is £26,682 plus a South Eastern Allowance of £3000. On the current system, officers can expect to be earning a salary of more than £43,000 per annum by your seventh year in the job.

The opportunity to run IPLDP+ is for a limited time only due to the licence being extended which is fantastic for our candidates to have an array of entry route available.  Our other entry routes offered are; Police Constable Degree Apprentice (PCDA) for those who wish to gain a degree qualification as they learn and the Degree Holder Entry Programmes (DHEP) for those who hold a degree already.  Please see our careers home page where you can apply for the PCDA & DHEP routes.

If you have questions, please email careers@bch.police.uk with the subject line Hertfordshire IPLDP Application Query

If you are currently at the pre-employment checks stage to become a Police Officer with Hertfordshire Constabulary, unfortunately you are ineligible to apply on this occasion.
