Cambridgeshire Constabulary are offering the opportunity for a permanent role in its Finance Team, open to internal and external applicants. This is a part-time (job share) role working 15 hours a week over 3 days to include Thursdays and Fridays (totalling 15 hours) although this is flexible.

The Finance Team looks after budgets over £137m for the constabulary and has a Purchase & Sales Ledger Team, Treasury and Management and Financial Accounts functions. We work directly for the Chief Constable of Cambridgeshire and closely with the Police and Crime Commissioners Office.

This role will contribute towards the provision of an effective and efficient payment's function, which optimises the Constabulary's cash flow, primarily raising purchase orders and ensuring that appropriate goods receipting actions are taken and reviewing requests for new suppliers and existing supplier amendments. You will report directly to the Finance Supervisor.

The role is located at Chord Park, Godmanchester which is a couple of miles from our Huntingdon HQ. We offer agile/flexible working, but hours are generally between 09:00am - 05:00pm.
