An integral part of the Public Protection department you will join a team of 8 Information Managers. You will be responsible for assessing and analysing referrals from police and partners in order to reduce the risk of harm to children who are at risk of harm, adults at risk and victims of domestic violence. You will use your excellent administrative skills to prioritise referrals and transfer them to key force systems.

Based in the MASH at Chord Park you will be able to work under pressure and use your analytical and research ability to highlight key safeguarding priorities from multiple sources of information to provide a Safeguarding information package.

You will share information with our partner agencies and assist in putting in place key elements of a plan to protect that individual. This process will involve liaising, on a daily basis, with police officers from teams across the whole constabulary and staff working in a safeguarding environment from a range of other organisations. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to produce concise and accurate written reports.

You will take telephone queries from police and partner agencies and endeavour to resolve the queries by assessing information stored on police systems.
