An opportunity has arisen for a part time job share role providing administrative support to the two Public Protections teams in the role of (CPC) Central Point of Contact.

The role requires you to work closely with the frontline teams who operate out of Parkside and Thorpewood and also with the (LPC) Local Point of Contact. The role is based at March Police Station.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail. As CPC you are responsible for the updating, checking and transferring of detailed records relating to Sex Offenders managed by the frontline teams. You will be checking and updating court results, PNC records as well as ensuring all records have risk assessments and risk management plans prior to any offender moving into or out of our force.

You will be required to liaise with CPC's in other forces and form close relationships with regional CPC's, attending meetings and representing the force.

You will need to have an understanding of Sexual Offences legislation and registration requirements in order to create offender records in Visor, check them for accuracy and archive them once the offenders time on the register ends.

The records relate to arguably one of the forces greatest areas of risk, which therefore requires that detailed eye and conscientious mindset.

The role is based in March in a small office, but you will be part of the wider Public Protection Team.

If you are interested, please write an expression of interest in 500 words, detailing your skills and interest in this role. For further information, please contact DI Jo Crisall on jo.crisall@cambs.pnn.police.uk
