As part of Bedfordshire Polices response to tackling Serious and Organised Crime (SOC) we are looking to recruit a dedicated SOC Researcher. 

This is a temporary post funded for 1 year, for 16 hours per week. 

Applications are invited from dynamic, tenacious and self-motivated individuals who have a keen interest in researching ways to combat serious and organised crime, you will have a proven track record of working in a small team providing bespoke solutions to SOC related challenges, providing coordination and support through a number of administration activities as well as collation and presentation of performance data to support briefings to executive teams.

Successful candidates will need to hold a full driving license and will be subject to enhanced vetting and integrity checks, which must be passed prior to undertaking the role.  

Progression to an interview will be dependent upon successful completion of a paper sift.  

The interview will be a competency-based interview marked against the integrated competency framework and will require you to provide examples of your skills and knowledge.
