Applications are invited for a Business Support Administrator Offence Verifier role based at Stevenage Police Station within the Cameras, Tickets & Collisions Unit (CTC) Joint Protective Services.

You will need good verbal and written communication skills as your role may require you to deal with queries from members of the public, stakeholders and suppliers. The ability to work accurately under pressure is essential.

This position will provide a good opportunity to demonstrate organisational and IT skills, and your ability to work accurately and demonstrate an attention to detail. The role involves viewing and verifying images from safety cameras by downloading mostly digital enforcement images onto a viewing platform. There may be times when the candidate will be required to attend court in support of prosecutions. The successful candidate will be able to multi-task, with an ability to use IT applications as well as willing to learn bespoke systems within the department.

This role provides important support to Road Safety so an appreciation of Road Safety issues and the Criminal Justice System would be advantageous.

At interview stage you will be asked to complete a short test which will be written and also carried out on a computer.
