An exciting opportunity exists for highly motivated Police Constables who are able to manage registered sex offenders. This requires good decision making and self-motivation. 

This vacancy will be for those officers, who have an interest in managing sex offenders. There will be a requirement for the successful candidates to work closely with partner agencies to reduce and manage the risk posed by these individuals. The successful candidates will need to ensure that the offenders are complying with orders and Licence conditions and identify any breaches swiftly to mitigate the risk posed by such individuals.  

We have North and South teams. The immediate vacancies are in the south of the county based at Luton Police station and and North Beds Police HQ Kempston. This advert is also open to external PC's who are looking to transfer to the force. Please remember to fill in and submit attached BCH Skills Audit Form.

The team currently work a 4 week shift pattern. You will work predominantly day shifts, 5 late shifts, and 1 weekend in 4. The individual needs to be able to drive as this role requires visiting people that we manage around the county.  

It is essential that you have good working knowledge of Athena . The role profile also states that the individual must have ARMS and RM2K training. Training will be given for the successful candidate to achieve these skills once in post.
