We are currently looking for a Business Design Authority Officer to join the Strategic Services Improvement Department (SSID). The Department consists of a number of functions, including Business Change and Continuous Improvement, Strategy and Demand, Tactical Intelligence and Performance, Force Crime Registrar Audit and Review and HMIC Liaison. Combined, the teams provide direction to the force both strategically and operationally.

The Business Design Authority Officer will work within the Business Change and Continuous improvement team, however will be responsible for coordinating the commissioning of activity across all of SSID and support the development, updating and monitoring of a number of products / processes managed across the teams.

You’ll be a focused and driven individual with a clear ability to work on your own and with others, you will be able to work to tight timescales and have proven writing skills and ideally will have an understanding. Ideally you will also understand project management processes and documentation.
