We are currently welcoming applications for full time Force Control Room (FCR) Radio Dispatch Agents.

As a radio agent you will be required to deploy appropriate Police resources to incidents, monitor radio channels and respond to the needs of Officers. Co-ordinate emergency services and partner agencies, dynamically risk assess incidents to ensure public and officer safety and in the event of large scale operations work with senior commanders. Excellent listening and customer service skills are vital for this role other skills that are required are the ability to multi task and use IT systems effectively.

As an FCR Radio Despatch Agent you will work variable 12 hour shifts 4 days on and 4 days off (shift hours of 2 shifts 0600-1800 and 2 x shifts 1800 – 0600). PLEASE NOTE that the shift allowance and weekend working allowances quoted in this advert are maximums, and are awarded for people working the full shift pattern; if you negotiate a different pattern, or work part-time, you will receive less. The actual amount awarded will depend on your specific shift pattern.

Successful applicants will be expected to attend an assessment as part of the recruitment process, followed by an interview if successful at assessment.
