Manage the vehicle workshop stores, ordering and issuing all items in connection with running the workshops. Ensure compliance with the Force’s and audit budgetary and financial regulations. Maintain up to date accurate information on all areas in the stores.

You must have a good standard of written and verbal communication for correspondence and reports and be able to speak with people face to face and by telephone in a clear and concise manner. At least 2 years’ experience in stores environment (involving stock control and record keeping), be computer literate with experience of Microsoft applications, spreadsheet and database packages.

A good knowledge of motor vehicles is necessary in order to undertake ordering parts etc. You will be required to undertake a degree of manual work.

Must have a full clean driving licence and will be required to pass police driving assessment.
