Have you had some experience of coaching/mentoring or training officers in your team? Would you like to help pass on your knowledge and experience to officers who are just starting their Detective career? Would you like to help develop officers to improve their interviewing skills? Yes to one or all of the above? Then come and join the Crime training team.

You will be joining a highly motivated team of officers and staff from three forces to deliver and develop crime training including Investigative Interviewing courses and Initial Detective training.

If you have good communication skills and a proven record of crime investigation, ideally across a range of crime business areas. Then you are who we are looking for.

Previous training qualifications would be desirable but not essential as the successful candidates will complete the Level 3 in Education and Training Award.

This vacancy is open to Assistant investigators, retired officers, Trainers with a proven investigative background and will be based at Dunstable.

Crime Training is a Collaborated team within BCH Learning and Development and will be a requirement to deliver training across the Tri force including Stevenage and Monkswood.
